At This Point, Dull Time For Sports
Since the entertainment of Super Bowl XLIX (and no I’m not talking about Katy Perry at halftime) that had the Patriots regain their title status in dramatic fashion, it seems that the aftermath until now has become, well, downright boring.
Let’s face it, the period between the Super Bowl to MLB Spring Training and even the NCAA Basketball Tournament, a down time.
Trust me, anyone watch the NBA All-Star Game? You know what I’m talking about.
Face it, these days are the downtimes for sports. NBA and NHL games in progress with no significant races, college basketball in conference play, maybe an interesting game or two, but nothing really of huge interest.
Then again, thank goodness for the NFL Network and combine coverage.
Outside of that, what to do these days? You could relax, read a book, rent an interesting movie, a nice dinner out somewhere. At any rate, if you need any rest, get it now. Things are about to pick-up with spring training, NCAA Basketball Tournament, then the NBA and NHL playoff races. Before long, think spring for MLB, opening day will arrive.
In the meantime, just relax, some great sports is about to take place.
